6. Chart Data and Accuracy
All charts are sourced from the FAA's Digital Terminal Procedures Publication (d-TPP). While we strive to provide accurate and current information:
- Charts are provided "as is" from FAA sources
- Users are responsible for verifying chart currency before flight operations
- We cannot guarantee the data received from these government sources is accurate or complete
- We are not liable for errors, omissions, or delays in chart updates
- Human error may enter into production of PDF available through this website.
- This Service is a tool for flight planning but does not replace official FAA publications or professional judgment
- Pilots are responsible for obtaining and using current, official aeronautical information as required by 14 CFR
Information becomes obsolete upon the publication of the next edition and information may change between publication dates. It is your responsibility to ensure that the charts you are flying with are current.
Relying upon absolute accuracy of this information could create a hazard for yourself and others. Comply with FAR 91.103 and take required preflight action to familiarize yourself with all available information concerning your flight. All critical information must be verified by the pilot with official sources and reference material. ApproachCharts are not intended to be a substitute for these or other official publications.
FAA published charts may require color output to ensure features, information and elevation can be distinguished. Do not print ApproachCharts on black and white printers or on color printers that do not provide clear fidelity as you will not be able to distinguish key features and information on the charts. Review each chart to ensure features are distinguishable after printing.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Share your account credentials with others
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code
- Use automated systems to download or scrape chart data in bulk
- Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit charts obtained through the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Charts and subscriptions ("products") are purchased for individual users–a single product cannot be shared across multiple users. If multiple users will be using the product(s), quantities of the product(s) should be purchased commensurate with the number of users. A user is defined as an individual pilot or individual non-pilot that uses the product(s). Even if a company, entity or organization ("entity") is the purchaser, the entity is not the individual user. Contact us for multi-user licensing options.
